Sometimes it's just the right time to create. It's 10:30p.m, the house is quite and I felt the need to make something.
I know my inspiration came from my visit to Vintage Market yesterday.
Yesterday after a day of stamping a few of us went to the Vintage Market. We went there because two of my downline, Julie and Ruby make beautiful greeting cards. Their work is so beautiful, that it is sold at this amazing store.
The decor and the atmosphere in the market just relaxes me and makes me just want to stamp and re-create things that I see. I saw some banners in the store that I loved.
So tonight I came out to my studio and look at what I created as a result of the Market's inspiration.
I used the SU Bigz L Perfect Pennants die to cut out the burlap and linen.
Then I used Stazon black ink and stamps from two sets, "Established Elegance" and Artistic Etchings".
I cut up a doily and added it to the corners of two of the pennants, I remember seeing that done at the market.
Take a look! And enjoy~

Happy Birthday
There is a new Hostess set in town, and it is darling. You are going to want this set and you can get it free, let's book your workshop! Contact me to book your date and time.
This card was made using the new birthday set "A Cherry on Top" and a set that you may already have "Perfectly Penned". I think that these two sets were made for each other.
I also used new designer series paper, it's called "Floral District". Check out the new daffodil delight ribbon too.
I used the blossom petals builder punch to make the cupcake top and the square scallop punch to make the cupcake holder. The simply score tool was used to put the detailed stripes onto the holder. Itty bitty punch pack is where you will find the flower punch that I used to top off the cupcake.
I think this card is sweet! No pun intended. Mini glue dots covered in dazzling diamonds glitter looks like sugar!

Betsy's Bloom
I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. I actually had a Mother's Day weekend. Saturday with my mom and Sunday breakfast in Sonora with Kenn's. We are so blessed to have two mom's. I know this can be a hard time for those who have lost their mother. I hope that everyone had a good day, no matter what the circumstance.
While in Orlando, I was asked by my friend Carol if I would join her swap. So I've been working to finish 25 of these.
I used the new stamp set Betsy's Bloosoms, I just can't get enough of it. This set is so so easy to use. I used the new in colors, new dsp plus new ribbon and one of the new texture folders.
Carol had not seen this pop up fold, so I promised I would send her instructions and a sample.
Today for the first time since back from vacation, I'm off to my volunteer work at Interfaith. Our vacation reminded me of how blessed we truly are.
I've always been so grateful to the Lord for his love and his protection. At Interfaith I do my best to serve him, by helping his children.

Betsy's Blossoms
Somebody help me! I can't stop stamping!!!! I earned this set, it arrived yesterday late, so I put it together just before going to bed.
Today, after doing a few household chores (yuck) I decided to play with this set.
I also earned the new in color markers so I just had to try them on for size. They fit!!! They fit right into everything else Stanpin' Up offers. I used every single stamp in the set on these samples, it's an amazingly easy set to create with. It's a must have. Order yours on June 1.
Today is open house, so those who are coming will get to see these darling note cards in person. I keep hearing that my samples are so much cuter when you can touch and feel them. So stop by.

In Color Dahlias Buttons
I won these new buttons while on the Incentive trip. Every morning after breakfast you could go to the hospitality room and spin the prize wheel. Where the wheel stopped determined what you won. I won two sets of buttons actually, but I have to make something with the other set before I can show those to you.
When I saw these Dahlias I knew that the very first thing I would make with them was earrings.
Look how well the Raspberry Ripple new in color matches my purse. And the Summer Starfruit matches my sandals. Whoooohooo! Stampin' Up sure knows how to pick the perfect colors to add to the product line.
